In the last two and a half days I...

spent 4 hours in class, 2 hours traveling, 1 hour at Activity days, 2 hours planning Activity days, 12 hours of homework, 6 hours of housework, 3 hours making meals, 3 hours with Dean, 2 hours nursing a baby, 14 hours sleeping, 32 hours playing with/bathing/teaching/reprimanding kids, 1 hour budgeting and paying bills, and 1 hour talking with various school offices. That is a total of 83 hours. Pretty good since I'm only counting 56 hours.
Life has suddenly gotten very busy and very stressful.
Dean and I both started school on Wednesday, and Dean is even more stressed out and busy than I am. Since he got out of the army a few months ago I've been enjoying having him home to do 50% of the child care and a good chunk of the housework. We got to spend a lot of time just enjoying each other's company and having fun as a family. I don't think I fully appreciated that time I had until now.
I didn't think I was going to be able to find someone to watch my kids for me so I could go to class, and I was seriously considering dropping the classes I was planning on taking, but so far everything has worked out well. I still am working out logistics of a permanent babysitter, but it looks like I'll be able to go to class when I need to... for now at least.
Well, Andrew just woke up from his nap and my house still needs cleaning and I still have quite a bit of homework that needs doing, and I want to spend this last hour or so with Dean before he leaves for the next couple of days to go down to Pocatello where he is going to do drill with the Army Reserves... ugh life used to be so simple.
