We moved! ... finally

So, we were hoping to be moving into our house back in February, but due to maintenance stuff that house was no longer available for us and we had to begin the search for a house once again. I must say that we were quite disappointed by that, but it's all for the best I guess. We decided afterward that that particular house was probably out of our price range anyways.
We were very close to getting another house, but decided not to because the house was on the market meaning that I would have had to keep the house clean all the time and people would be coming to look at it, and we might have had to move again if someone chose to buy it.
So we kept looking and then we found this house. It's bigger than any of the other houses that we looked at, but because it's an older house it was more within our price range. It does have a funky smell to it, but mostly just upstairs. I'm not entirely sure what the smell is, I think it might be tobacco, but we're hoping that we'll be able to get rid of the smell. It has a big back yard and four bedrooms, a large living room, and family room. Meaning that there's plenty of room for people to stay for the family reunion.
Now the only trouble is that I'm so busy with kids that I'm finding no time to get any unpacking done. And it takes me twice as long to get anything done because I can't find anything. I also need to get our old apartment cleaned up and ready for inspection. I don't know how I'm going to be able to get everything done.
I think DJ is enjoying having a new house now that he's used to being here. For those first couple of days he seemed really frustrated that there were familiar items in an unfamiliar place. Plus most everything is still in boxes so there is still some stuff missing. And when we go back to work on the apartment he seems confused why there's nothing there. Now he enjoys the space to run around without banging into things.
