Adventures in Potty Training

I started Potty Training DJ back in January and he started out doing pretty well, but then I started school again and it became less of a priority. Since then I've just let him sit on the toilet when he asked to, which was anywhere from once or twice a day to once a week or less. When I finished my semester I planned to start again, but then it became evident that we would be moving, so I decided not to push the issue until after we were all settled in here. Two days ago we started again in earnest. I set the timer and was ahving him go sit on the potty every 20 minutes or so. He did great all morning, and then after nap time he flat out refused to go again. Yesterday we tried again and it soon became evident that it was too hot and he obviously was not drinking enough. All morning he only peed one time and that was in his pullups, and again, in the afternoon he refused to sit on the toilet at all. So I tried again this morning. Time to move AGAIN

I am so sick of moving. I figured it out the other day: in the last 6 years, I have lived been in 10 different wards; 7 in the last 4; plus a few more if you count a month here and a month there. Hopefully this one will be the last one for at least a year, maybe longer. Dean is still looking for a job, but we've settled on living in Green River WY. There are a lot of mines, an airport, and several other potential job opportunities around there, and that's just where we feel we need to be right now. That's where Dean grew up. He worked at the McDonalds there when he was in highschool, and all the same people are still working there ten years later, and they said he can have his job back until he finds something better, so at least we'll have that. The biggest problem with Green River Wyoming is that very little of it is online. All the jobs are paper applications, and the job listings are either in the news paper or just a help wanted sign in the window. T...
